Here ya go.
Someone tell Ann that I grill a helluva good cheeseburger.
any transcripts?
Ann was great, as always, but Colin Ferguson seemed pretty stupid. I'd never watched his show before, but he was pretty funny playing Nigel Wick, and I guess I assumed he was bright.
I think she looks good. :D
No i'm sorry, someone here wanted some pics of this show... Maybe you could check Craigs webpage? or cBS? for a transcript. Only thing I learned from the interview is that Ann likes the Grateful Dead.
Oh, as do I. But the lady probably has to run around in the shower just to get wet.
The curves have given way to rib-cages and mosquito bites.
But I still like her books.
Yep. Love Annie's mind.
Sorry, but I just watched this and I thought Ann was a bit of a b****. She doesn't need to be that hateful.
Craig Ferguson is VERY funny. But it's hard to be funny when your guests are obnoxious. She didn't even comment when he said he was in the process of becoming an American. Instead of welcoming that, she showed a very nasty side.
She was obnoxious from start to finish. I'll never understand why so many love Ann so much.
Flame away boys, but she was horrible.
Ann was fine, but ferguson tried to get her to say unflattering things, and showed himself to be a jerk. A lot of women seem to dislike Ann. I suspect jealousy has a lot to do with it. I think we've had this conversation before.
She's conservative and sharp as a tack.
The "skin and bones" look is not attractive.
She's a smart mouth Graybeard. She may be intelligent but all that shows most of the time is her smart mouth.

Only thing I learned from the interview is that Ann likes the Grateful Dead...From www.anncoulter.com:
someone here wanted some pics of this show...That would be ME!
THANK YOU, Echo Talon!!!
It's part of her persona. She explained it in one of her books. She learned it really irritates liberals so she sticks with what works.
I have seen the libs heap abuse on her and she just keeps smiling. That also makes them nuts.
I have very much appreciated that part of her during intense political discussions. But there was nothing going on during this interview. Craig Ferguson was not confrontational with her at all. It was not political.
In fact he seemed sincerely interested in learning something about HER. He asked her more than once about HER.
Sadly I think all he learned was to tell his booking people to keep that mouthy woman off his show.
If all she's got is that smart mouth and isn't capable of just having a conversation, then something is wrong.
She would be more effective if she could appear human from time to time.
I usually just ignore her, but she was out of line and out of place tonight. This wasn't political banter. This was simply a bullying.
You WERE attempting sarcasm, right?
What the hell are you talking about?
Craig Ferguson was not confrontational with her at all.We must have been watching DIFFERENT shows. :o)
I was in the studio audience, about thirty feet away from them (in the FRONT ROW, naturally!) and he certainly WAS confrontational -- often.Perhaps we can watch it AGAIN -- and get a few SECOND opinions, when it comes on out here on the West Coast, in about twenty minutes, or so.
Well, imagine where Ann'd be if she looked like a female Barney Frank.
That's nice. You sure got to your computer quick.
I won't be watching again. I have my opinion and I expected plenty of flames.
I think she was a witch and he was baffled by her attitude.
Of course, I realize that most of you are Ann worshippers and wouldn't notice bad behavior if she stood on the table and slapped you.
Finally!!!
Sleep ...
If Ann took her looks and brains and added some charm she would be appealing to people other than the FR Ann Coulter Cult.
She could be absolutely wonderful as an example of a bright lovely conservative woman. Instead she (and all of you) settle for a bully in a mini skirt.
By the time she was finished, he looked uncomfortable and the audience was mainly quiet.Yeah, we were under strict orders. :(
The General Manager of the show approached me before the show began, when she found out that I was the "ring leader" of the group from Free Republic.Naturally, we agreed, but SEVERAL times throughout the evening, they warned us NOT to cheer or hoot TOO LOUD when Ann was on...She told me to tell the FReepers to remember that this was NOT the "Ann Coulter" show, and to give their guy some respect.
...with the implied threat that we would be removed from the studio audience if we did.
Oh and those people you pinged? I'm ready for their flames also.
I think you got distracted trying to look up her skirt.
Ann could be wonderful for us if she could act like a real person instead of a mouthy bully.
There was nothing political going on. There was no political discussion, but she took it there with plenty of bizarre remarks that seemed to come out of nowhere.
She's not doing us any favors.
No sleep for YOU!!!! :)
Err, can't speak for anyone else, but I'm neutral on Ann. She doesn't do much for me either way. :-)
no need to start swearing...
She could do much for us if she knew when to smart off and when to show her intelligence in a charming and ladylike way.
She wouldn't lose one single ounce of her intelligence and would gain some level of respect from mainstream America if she was less of a bully.
I love Anne and I totally agree with you!
What was the point of that? Are you trying to imply that there is something unattractive about me?
Hmm, when did we meet?
Thank you for taking the time to actually read what my objection to her is. I appreciate that.
She could do much more with her assets.
If Ann took her looks and brains and added some charm...Man, LIGHTEN UP!
Please take a break from your "Ann bashing" to watch THIS delightful video:

...and then report back here about Ann's "charm."
I will grant you that Ann was a little defensive this evening......but she had been warned that Craig was planning to attack her -- right from the start.
Perhaps he decided NOT to attack her as aggressively as he intended -- when he found out that there were a LOT of "Ann Coulter fans" in the audience -- including TWENTY Marines, just back form Iraq, in their full dress uniforms. And, perhaps he and Ann "mis-communicated" -- often.
But she **is** learning to move beyond the "slash and burn" retorts that have proven so effective for her in verbal combat with the hard-core leftists that she USUALLY battles......and start to "reach out" to uninformed center-lefties, like Mr. Ferguson -- even if she has not fully mastered this transition.
I think so too. She's gorgeous and brilliant. Just wish she would slow down, listen and take a breath once in a while!
gotta sleep, going to be running the saw later today .... Don't want one of the digits showing up at Wendys or in frozen custard!!!!
I've seen the video. It has nothing to do with tonight or the many other appearances where she behaved the same way.
So, how do you know what Craig Ferguson's political leanings are? And how do you know he was "planning to attack" her?
I've never heard anything about his political leanings and I doubt that he was planning an attack. For what purpose? This show is always very lighthearted and fun and it's never been political.
Where did you get this information?
Why does it bother all of you so much that I don't think she did well?
So, how do you know what Craig Ferguson's political leanings are?Because I did my HOMEWORK, in the pre-FReep thread:
To: RonDog
Ferguson is a very funny guy and a good interviewer. His humor is natural, not forced, like Jimmy Kimmel's. Kimmel sometimes telegraphs to the audience that he doesn't think a joke is funny. Ferguson tries to sell it as best he can, and like Johnny Carson, he can make you laugh about not laughing at his jokes. He also isn't shy to go the extra yard for a laugh, sometimes putting on several silly costumes on within a minute to give one-liners.Ferguson is also a leftie, and often does a schtick with a guy who does a pretty funny Bush imitation. A sample, in a bit in the aftermath of Laura Bush's standup at the Press Correspondents' dinner (to the best of my memory):
CRAIG FERGUSON: So, what did you think of the First Lady's speech?"GEORGE W. BUSH": Well, Fergie, I thought it bombed!
FERGUSON: You didn't think she was funny?
"BUSH": Yeah, I thought it bombed! You know, I like bombing things!
Last night, with Sela Ward, Ferguson, a Scottish emigre, showed that he hasn't unlearned knee-jerk stereotypes about the South. Ward, who is from Mississippi, was recounting a recent trip to Alabama, and spoke of her days as a U of A cheerleader. She was telling him about Bear Bryant and how college football was like a religion down South, and how the South is all about 'football, family, and...' At this point Ferguson interjected, "Guns?"
I am not as big a fan of Ann since her irresponsible and unnecessarily inflammatory suggestion in 2001 that Muslims forceably be converted to Christianity. She seems to want to make liberals angry more than she wants to make a common-sense case for conservatism. Remember her spiked USA Today piece that opened by referring to the DNC Convention in Boston as the "Spawn of Satan" convention? I prefer people who generate more heat than light. Ann is doing just the opposite.
Fair warning: A face-off between Fergie and Ann may not be pretty.

"BUSH": Yeah, I thought it bombed! You know, I like bombing things! That would be from THIS (not particularly funny) recent comedy sketch about the President, from www.cbs.com/latenight/latelate/comedy:
Craig Calls Bush
How is W. dealing with Laura stealing
the spotlight with her stand-up comedy?
Craig checks in with the President.
I was on that thread by the way. Did you forget about things that you posted like this......
I went home after that Summer. It was a great Summer. That was the Summer that I Fell in love with America.
The man loves this country. Most leftists don't. So I'm not convinced he is a leftist. He might be and he might not be. But the fact that he is working to become a citizen means a lot to me. I would like to think conservatives would be more welcoming than Miss Coulter and her crack about him being fired.
Jokes about the President mean nothing. Clinton got the same treatment by known Clinton supporters. It's just a job.
Also on that thread another poster posted very similar things to my posts about Ann Coulter.
I think we are going to have to agree to disagree about this.
No problem Ron. If you want more pics of something just let me know. :D
I think we are going to have to agree to disagree about this.
Thank-You! not many people say that anymore :)
Yea, he kept trying to get her to admit to smoking weed, and even tried to see if should want to make pot legal. Yea, thats being real nice, maybe you gush to much for the British accent?
He's Scottish dear. Not British. And no, the accent means nothing to me.
Ann Coulter needs to lighten up. Maybe you're just gushing over her legs?
