I would say Daisy Duke's shorts were a very good thing!

You can decide whether you think these are best or worst. My mind's made up.

Actually it was the Dictators. They had an album out on Epic in 1974 when the Bruddahs' Ramone formed their band (didn't get an album for a couple more years).

The future members of The Clash (101ers) were at the July 4th, 1976 concert where the Ramones brought rock to England.

If the Clash had not gotten played on MTV (Should I Stay Or Should I Go, Rock The Casbah, Radio Clash) they would probably be largely unknown in the US today.

Best of the 70's - I could take my fishing pole with me on my motorcycle and be gone from 7 am till it got dark and not get in trouble.

Worst - I wasn't old enough to buy beer.

What about the custom van craze? Remember those things with murals and shag carpet...and the little plexiglas bubble windows near the back of the van?

Dwayne Allman - miss him.

I thought Greg Allman's whipping post song was very decent.

Sorry, but I'll take disco (NOT the Bee Gees or Village People variety) over Scooby-Doo any day and twice on Sunday. Most people I know who dislike disco are just poor dancers. Sad, really......
