"We all watched Terri Schiavo die. The controversy around her case dominated the headlines and talk shows, going all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, the White House, and the Vatican.
And it's not over yet. Despite her death, the controversy lingers. In Silent Witness, former LAPD detective and New York Times bestselling author Mark Fuhrman applies his highly respected investigative skills to examine the medical evidence, legal case files, and police records. With the complete cooperation of Terri Schiavo's parents and siblings, as well as their medical and legal advisers, he conducts exclusive interviews with forensics experts and crucial witnesses, including friends, family members, and caregivers.
Fuhrman's findings will answer these questions:
What was Terri and Michael Schiavo's marriage really like? What happened the day Terri collapsed? What did Michael Schiavo do when he discovered Terri unconscious? How long did he wait before calling 911? What do medical records show about her condition when she was first admitted to the hospital? What will the autopsy say? The legal issues and ethical questions provoked by Terri Schiavo's extraordinary case may never be resolved. But the facts about her marriage, her condition when she collapsed, and her eventual death fifteen years later can be determined.
With Silent Witness, Fuhrman goes beyond the legal aspects of the case and delves into the broader, human background of Terri Schiavo's short, sad life.

Fuhrman is on the case.
You can't hide from a Grand Jury.
Justice is coming.
The book was released today, right?
OH MAN rack Mark Furhman I always thought he got bum rap from LAPD about Orenthal which I blame on LA DA i could run smack chat since I am from So CAL
That's already known. It was WAY TOO LONG for a 'loving caring husband.'
Have you read the information that suggests he put her in this state then denied her treatment which could have helped her recover some functionality? God forbid she should learn to talk again. That might be his undoing. So his moneymaking plan failed (or did it?) -- it doesn't mean he didn't try his damndest.
I love Mark Furhman; and look forward to reading his analysis and findings.
Hope it is on the NYT's #1 slot by next day and stays there. . .for as long as it takes for more to realize; just what went down here; and why.
I see you went to the Exclamation Point Sale at World Market, too!!!!!!!!!!!!
Michael Skakel couldn't agree more.
Do you think you have enough exclamation points??????? I think you could use a few more ....
Well, have you told that to Michael? Apparently he has a book coming out, apparently his story was never the same two times, apparently he has not tellable memory of even what position Terri was in.
I will bet you will be furious when and if there is an investigation of your idol, Michael.
Oh, please! A stupid, fricking jury let O.J. off and less than skillful, inexperienced lawyers prosecuting him (but skillful enough for any 'reasoned capable' person to judge him guilty). Even his dog nailed it.
That said, I hope YOU will read the book; and more finely-tuned analysis of the medical findings - ie the things they do not cover. . .etc.
But. . .even if everything they said was right on; and there was nothing more to say. . .Terri being starved to death was 'dead wrong'.
But why go to the end; before we have the beginning of this story. . .and it's reasons for 'being', perhaps.
(Do you think Michael Skakel - Kenedy cousin - who was finally convicted of killing Martha Moxley; should have escaped prosecution? Mark Furhman's investigation and book, allowed that Justice to transpire. . .for however long it lasts, of course. . .)
PING
If it's so 'over', why are you and your ilk still popping blood vessels?
I, for one, think you protest too much...
Please save some exclaimation points for the rest of us.
