That's great, but this time we won't be running against Gore or Kerry.

I think there is a harvest machine sometimes out in front of Helena's farmhouse in the Badlands.

So let me ask you, do you think Mike Toreno is a Republican?

Of course it isn't. The Mrs. Grundy contingent doesn't give a rats arse about that though. They will save us from ourselves whether we want to be saved or not.

I agree with most of what you wrote. Heck, I leave all kinds of 'code' in websites I have put up. I am lazy.

I am not sure of the solution, but I worry that if the companies are not responsible they will add that content knowing many people will unlock it. There needs to be some incentive not to do that. In this case it was an M game, meaning it was not that big a deal. But what if it had been an E game? There needs to be some responsibility on the company. As for 3rd party content, that is just the free market, and I have no problem with that. My only issue is if the company knowingly allows content of higher rating to be hidden.

The irony is more people have probably accessed this content since the news broke.

And just why is Grandma suiting in Fed court and not state court?

If the defendant company is not incorporated or headquartered in New York, she can sue in federal court, which has jurisdiction of suits between citizens of different states, even if the case does not involve federal law.

Unfortunately, I cannot search for that information as there is no Internet database that keeps that info, yet...

Two things.

1) It is not uncommon for games to ship with game code that cannot be accessed. Knights of the Old Republic 2, for example, has a ton of sound files and level maps on the disc that had to be cut from the game due to time constraints.

2) This particular woman bought the game in late 2004, before the PC version was out. This means she bought the Playstation 2 version. The additional, sexual content that was cut from the game is on the disc but is not accessible in any way on the Playstation 2 version of the game. It can only be accessed on the PC version.

Does anybody know if the PS2 version of the game is also having its rating changed?
