It will NEVER be Leffler!!

Now, if DEI buys out Matts contract with Roush and Roush has to buy out Jamie's, he's just about exchanged money. No loss no gain. Depending on what they're making of course. :)

First wreck

07
38
29
38 squeezed the 07 into the wall. Schrader was behind this and made it through as did Mike Wallace in DW's truck.

I know, I'm just going with the guys who usually do well here. Haven't a clue because of the new spoiler/gear stuff.

Andretti's smokin a tire in the truck race. He hit the wall now again. Caution. Darn

That's the pits for an Andretti to wreck here. And, the 15 truck is 4th in owner points.

They have seven different drivers scheduled for that truck this year.

This IRP track looks like fun. There's a place along the track where there is grass and you can sit there in your lawn chair.

Spinner 04 Hamilton - didn't wreck - caution out anyway.

I'm back, momentarily anyway.

80 to go and they're all sliding around. Do you think they make green flag stops for wreck before then?

The lady in the 8 did a great job of keeping the rear tars going forward...

It will NEVER be Leffler!!

Last night (before today's rumors that it is someone already on a team) I suggested maybe Ward Burton. That was stupid. The last I heard he and Junior hated each other.

RE: Truck Race at IRP

Bo-ring. As I said a few weeks ago, I like side-by-side racing. You can keep these single-file/too-difficult-to-pass tracks, regardless if they are road courses or ovals. I'll watch something else.

I liked what I got to see of the race. I think the short tracks are more fun, this just needs a little more banking. ;)

Heat buckles track at Dover, will be fixed by Sept. races: The summer heat wave that has gripped Delaware and the Mid-Atlantic region the past couple of weeks has caused a small portion of Dover International Speedway's concrete backstretch to buckle. Denis McGlynn, president and CEO of the track, said Friday he does not expect it to be a major issue and anticipates the MBNA-sponsored NASCAR weekend from Sept. 23-25 to go on as scheduled. "We've put a call in to NASCAR and let them know of the issue," McGlynn said. "It's something that we'll probably have fixed in just a few days." Workers at the high-banked, one-mile track have installed temporary sprinklers on the frontstretch in an effort to cool the track down and avoid the buckling issue that has popped up on the backstretch.

First practice is up.

Schrader fastest so far. LOL I guess he's still reved up from the Night of Stars at Pevely.

I will post updates. Looks like someone wrecked in practice. Based on last lap times it could have been Boris or Newman or ??, hard to tell.

Hope you'll be back for practice. Before they stopped, Truex was 4th!!
