A Florida Marlins batboy earned himself a six-game suspension from the team for accepting a dare to drink a gallon of milk in less than an hour without throwing up, according to a report in The Miami Herald.
The Herald says Dodgers pitcher Brad Penny (who was traded by the Marlins to L.A. last season) offered the unidentified boy $500 last Sunday if he could accomplish the task.
Penny reportedly said that the batboy drank the gallon of milk in the allotted time, but was not able to keep it down.

It sounds easy, but I tried it one time and barfed all over the place.

I hope the batboy barfed all over Brad Penny's favorite mitt

Why isn't Brad Penny suspended for daring the kid?

I did that once, only once. nobody would come within 20 feet of me the rest of the day with the amount of gas I had.

I once drank a half gallon of chocolate milk at one time. About an hour later I had diarrhea.

The problem here is obvious....
You need at least TWO boxes of graham crackers per gallon of milk.

If he'd given the kid a couple of joints and a pound of Oreos, a gallon of cow juice in an hour would've been no problem.

It does sound easy.
Can you tell more about it.
How did you drink it? At well timed intervals. Or all at once?
How soon after the hour and finishing the milk did you throw up?
I can drink a lot of milk, it seems like this would be easy. But I trust you.
If one drank a gallon of water would he vomit? Is it just liquid volume is too much to take over one hour or does milk contribute?

Is it just liquid volume is too much to take over one hour or does milk contribute? Considering they may be on a baseball field in the heat.. I suspect some mild curdling of the milk added to the situation. Which water would not have...

I think being milk has something to do with it. I started by drinking like half-glasses every five minutes, but it was an underestimate so I had to chug like 2 glasses in the end. About 5 minutes later it ALL came up. It was not pretty.

Today, milk.......tomorrow, Jack Daniels..........
