NEW YORK (Billboard) -- Iron Maiden's manager has condemned Ozzfest fans who pelted the band with debris during its performance at the hard rock festival's weekend stop near Los Angeles.
The British metal veterans also endured periodic outages of the sound system, and Ozzfest organizer Sharon Osbourne came on stage afterwards to call Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson a "prick" for allegedly berating her husband, Ozzy Osbourne.
Sunday's dramatic show in San Bernardino, California, was Iron Maiden's last on the Ozzfest tour; Velvet Revolver has joined the lineup in its place.

Nope. Believe it or not, this actually happened. Pretty ridiculous and petty. Sounds like something out of 'Spinal Tap'. Ozzy is partially alive and the guys in Iron Maiden seem to be in 'good' health. They used to be really into playing soccer and in rather good shape I belive.

I almost hate to say this, but BRUCE DICKINSON ROCKS!!!!
He was never the rock star (i.e. doper, loser, scum bag). After Iron Maiden had run its course in the early 1990's he became an airline pilot, a devoted father to his young kids and now only occasionally makes concert appearances. He was always down to earth and never got wrapped up in the whole weird, "Yeah, I'm a rock star!" thing.
