The problem is that there are no high-profile black people refuting these irresponsible comments. When all we hear are irreponsible comments by Jesse Jackson, Jesse Jackson, Jr., Al Sharpton, Kayne West, Sheila Jackson-Lee, Julianne Malveaux, Maxine Waters, the idiot congressman from Harlem, whatever his name is, and the like it is very easy for non-thinking white people to attribute that thinking to blacks in general.
