The only vessel that should be named for William Jefferson "Ah did not have se-ux with thet woman" Clinton is a garbage scow.

The last time I tried to sit through a Steven Segal movie it was a very painful experience. I've seen much better acting in a high school senior class play. I would recommend acting lessons for him if I thought they would do any good.

I wouldn't say that Seagull's movies are really all that creative. Not many good martial arts films coming out these days. Would be neat to see a serious martial arts film about martial arts, not just featuring it. No silly wirework, cheezy sets and scripts, or "topical" references to modern mediocrity like WJC.

Something like a gritty, realistic account of the life and times of the legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi. That would rock.

OK. Enough of the Clinton stuff. I am now appealing to fellow Freepers to support some fellow Marines in their quest to celebrate the Marine Corps Birthday in Vegas, just prior to deployment to Iraq theatre.

Thanks to anyHere is link via Hugh Hewitt: one that can help.

"I don't know, Carter got a sub."

Carter deserved a sub. Clinton deserved 5 to 10 at Leavenworth.

they named one of their daughters after the nanny (never figured that one out). Turns out, he was sleeping with the nanny and he and the wife broke up. I think he ended up marrying the nanny/namesake.

So, the nanny was the real mother, and Kelly didn't know? I hate that.

And, the current procedures for an "emergency blow" will need to be modified a bit.

I was watching one of his earlier movies when he was thin and had a good laugh when my wife pointed out that Segal had smaller shoulders than my seven year old daughter. It just looked comical watching this guy with puny shoulders and scrawny arms beat up ten guys at a time.If you watch his early movies make sure you take a look at his shoulders and how big his head looks on top of them.

Actually,there was (2) USS Clinton(s) in WW11.

USS Clinton - LPA 144

The second Clinton (APA-144) was launched 29 November 1944 by California Shipbuilding Co., Wilmington, Calif., under a Maritime Commission contract sponsored by Mrs. L. N. Green; transferred to the Navy 1 February 1945; converted at U.S. Naval Station Astoria, Oreg., and commissioned 1 February 1945 Commander J. A. Tvaldi, USNR, in command.

Clinton cleared San Francisco 17 April 1945 and sailed to land Marine replacement troops and equipment on Okinawa between 27 and 31 May. She transferred battle casualties to Guam where she embarked ground forces of the 7th Bomber Command for transportation to Okinawa, arriving 2 July. When she sailed 6 days later she was carrying over 1,000 Okinawan and Korean prisoners of war for internment in the Hawaiian Islands. Clinton cleared Honolulu 5 August carrying replacement troops to Saipan.

She sailed on to Manila to embark Army occupation troops whom she landed at TsingLao, China, 11 October 1945.

Arriving at Elaiphong, French Indo-China, 26 October, she loaded Chinese troops and equipment and carried them to Chinwangtao and Taku for the reoccupation of northern China. Assigned to "Magic Carpet" duty, Clinton embarked homeward-bound servicemen at Manila and sailed 28 November for San Pedro, Calif., arriving 18 December. She continued to the east coast, arriving at Norfolk 2 February 1946. Clinton was decommissioned 2 May 1946 and transferred to the Maritime Commission for disposal 1 October 1958.

Clinton received one battle star for World War II service.

You're right. I saw that video and the ending made me so mad. Huge anti-business, anti-Republican, pro-big government leftie. And his schtick of always trying to be the counter-cultural, multi-cultural guy wears thin. He's just another Hollywood guy who thinks he's cool because he's a "compassionate" socialist.

I saw the one with Ja Rule and Steven Connelly. He's getting too old for those types of movie.
