I got your freepmail. I thank you for keeping JT in your prayers. With some of the stunts he pulls, nothing malicious but like helping someone do roman riding on two motorcycles, he needs 'em. But JT is "safe" at home and there are no immediate plans for deployment.

There is no end to a mother's worries, is there? One way or the other, we worry.

It is worth repeating loudly, long and in the USA Today as a full-page ad.

Hi Tillacum. It's better here weather-wise. Cooler and the humidity is much more tolerable. Folks here said last week was unseasonably hot and humid.
Thanks for honoring our vets!

Hi, hope you put some sox on... Read your Ramen noodle comment and remembered when this yutz at work went to nuke himself some noodles. We have an Amana Radarange, and it is a very powerful microwave, guess because they invented it. Anyway, he puts his noods in, starts it and goes back to his workstation. Trouble was, he set the timer for TEN minutes! I am driving my fordtruck up towards the front of the plant, when my nose makes me say to myself: "WHAT is that STENCH? Why, extremely over-microwaved Ramen noodles, of course! It took HOURS before things returned to normal. That whacked-out dumb bunny, anyways...

Oh, Jemian, thank you for that link! McClellan, of all people, hits one out of the park!
I would have missed that had you not provided the link. I had my granddaughter here all day with the sniffles. Then went to my son's house with her to meet the other two coming home. Their mother has to attend a museum shindig for her work so I made the kids supper. Son is out of town on business. Then my daughter and her husband came and picked up the two older ones to take them to same museum shindig, and I brought the younger one back here, where I cooked her ANOTHER supper of scrambled eggs (she is apparently feeling better) and fixed my husband dinner. I am in here taking a break while kind Mr. Marple goes over toy catalogues with her.
Then we have all three of them again tomorrow morning!
Whew! One would think I would lose weight more quickly...but then maybe I shouldn't eat the food I fix the kids. LOL!

Agree wholeheartedly! The left uses strong language, it's time for our side to do the same! Let US take a page from THEIR handbook and use shove it down their throats! Turnabout is fair play, eh?

I managed to save the clowns......I just did a 50% water change and yesterday I pulled half of the "rock" out and put it into another tank. This morning the "rock tank" had ammonia throught the roof!!!!
To: The Raven
Hmmm. I know nothing about live rock and I'm learning from your posts.
Happy to hear your clowns are well.

Revise and extend remarks time... [Sorry, was stuffing my face]
Yes, let us use their own words against them! A page from thier playbook comes from Mein Kampf: "Tell a lie, tell it often enough, and it will be believed!" But, instead of lies, let simply use their own words against them! Simple but effective, done enough!
For those interested in President Bush's Veterans' Day speech, Rush has it up on his website but probably for just a short time...Smash here, but be quick about it!

A great point from the President's Veterans' Day Speech:
"The fifth element of our strategy in the war on terror is to deny the militants future recruits by replacing hatred and resentment with democracy and hope across the broader Middle East. This is difficult, and it's a long-term project, yet there is no alternative to it. Our future and the future of the region are linked. If the broader Middle East is left to grow in bitterness, if countries remain in misery while radicals stir the resentment of millions, then that part of the world will be a source of endless conflict and mounting danger, in our generation and for the next."
Full texthere.
