So far so good!
Well, it is now half time. The Giants are ahead 10-0.
Offense has been kind of lackluster, but the defense is playing superbly, having limited the Eagles offense to no points. McMahon has fumbled twice, but none were taken by the G-Men. Eli has likewise fumbled twice, but both were recovered by the Giants.
In any case, Eli is more accurate now; only five of his passes are incomplete. And he has no interceptions.
We don't need the offense to score to win; we just need to keep ourselves from losing the game when we should win. So far, we've done that, with only three penalties (Delay of game, offense holding, and an 'illegal block above the waist' by Strahan [?]). As for Philly, they have committed 5 penalties.
Go Giants!
So my new nicknames for the Eagles are the "Egos" and the "Feebles"... voting tallied at the end of the game!
Eagles score. 10-7
First offensive TD they've given up in around 3 games...
Uh oh. O'Hara's injured. How bad is it?
Only 5 first downs and 25 rushing for the Steelers today. They've got to get the running game going to have a chance to win..
Ouch. The O-Line's given up four sacks, while we haven't gotten any.
Score is 13-7.
...and now comitting a pass interference penalty in the EZ.
The Patriots running game is revitalized with Heath Evans. Looks like New Orleans is imploding with foolish penalties.
Shock(eyd)!
TOUCHDOWN. Eli to Shockey.
20-10, G-Men.
The NFC North is wrapped up; Dem Dam Bears have it well in hand. At least you guys should get to 8 wins and thus save us the infamy of having the first division champ with a sub-.500 record.
Words cannot begin to describe the SUCK that is Maddox.
Ruh-roh. Eagles TD.
20-17.
Defense is starting to lax off...
LOL
ouch that sucks
Eli scores again.
27-17
Turnover on downs. Giants ball.
Less than four minutes left in the 4th quarter.
