strong desire; especially : sexual desire - con·cu·pis·cent /-s&nt/ adjective

Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French, from Late Latin concupiscentia, from Latin concupiscent-, concupiscens, present participle of concupiscere to desire ardently, from com- + cupere to desire

Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

You can't ignore us
We are too cute and your heart

Tumbling across the
Floor. Learning to protect while
We play through the day!

Leaping up the stairs
One at a time. We're slow now
But we'll get faster!

Napping in a bunch
First for warmth. Then to protect
Lessons learned for life

Bat the ball of yarn
Pull on its tail like a mouse
It just rolls away!

These rooms are so big!
Lot of space to run and play
And places to hide!

Claws pull and push
Up higher with each slow reach
Love these thick, strong drapes!

So much to explore!
Dark corners and deep shadows
My future looks bright!

I have been to so many funerals this year I am on a first name basis with all the morticians........rme. I had to explain to one today that this one was not a patient of mine. I have seen him at the home of one patient who didn't make it so I have this reputation I guess.

I need to go out and have a good time.......I can't today though, but soon. I am making plans to fly to San Jose in the next two months.

I'm home to work on a bid-I need to grab every little job I can before hard winter sets in and there is no real work until spring.

I love that word-I've even used it a time or two to be snooty to someone I didn't like-

Moonbat Cindy's concupiscence
For attention has taken her to Britain
But the script she is to follow there
Hasn't yet been written

Someone wrote a character
With her name and antics into a play-
I wonder if there is a scene in which
The whitecoats take her away

That probably won't happen as long
As she remains the left's pet rabbit
But if she shows any signs of intelligence
They'll drop her like a bad habit

(And it can't happen fast enough for me...)
