The Great King Kong Question Still Unanswered!
vanity | self

I went and saw the latest King Kong movie the other night. All 3 hours and 10 minutes of it. But once again the biggest question I've had about this movie remains unanswered.

After they knock out King Kong on the island, how do they get him on the boat?

You'd think with 3 hours + of movie we could have gotten an answer to that question

It really isn't as bad as you think. Well maybe the first time is, but after that it is not as bad.

My question is: Why didn't they tell anybody that Hillary Clinton played that skull island witch doctor woman???

Maybe a crane? Or he could have been towed back on a raft of some kind.

LOL.

I have a very low tolerancee for pain.
I will likely be a very poor test subject.

And Kong, well.. He'd be in a world of hurt.

I think they made Kong run around the ship until he was "all in."

Do they have butt hair on "Brokeback Mountain"?

If they do, it's a mix with the sheep wool.

Actually in the original it was alluded to.
After knocking Kong out on the beach Denham says to "send to the ship for anchor chains and tools".When asked why,he says"to build a raft and float him to the ship".
That is when he announces that in a few months it will be up in lights"Kong, the eighth wonder of the world".

// Any theories?//

Yep, but they have more to do with your mental state than that movie.

ha ha ha!

As we have learned, all theories are unproven - but factual /sarc>

I'm sure that is coming. Japan is getting ready to inject an Asian elephant with mammoth DNA.

They were being faithful to the original 1933 classic, which also avoided the issue.

Indeed. Peter Jackson said that he did the movie this way as a nod to the original 1933 version.

How did they get King Kong on the ship?

Same way the Egyptians got those three-ton stone blocks up the sides of 500-feet-tall pyramids.

I finally saw King Kong today. The movie should have been shortened by at least one hour. This would have gotten rid of the excess CGI and slow parts. CGI should be apart of the movie, but not the movie itself. By shortening the movie the film would have been great!

If Peter Jackson has an extended cut of this, he is a very poor director and has no idea how to make a movie. King Kong is a very simple story to tell.

Hollywood has lost its way and cannot tell a great story anymore. It appears it has run out of ideas and screws up remakes of great films.

Thumbs Down.
