NFL - Your Predictions For Divisional Playoffs

Posted on 01/11/2006 10:05:13 PM PST by Echo Talon

Ok, lets see what everyone thinks about this week.
I admit I was horrible in my picks last week and only got 1 out of 4 right.

They should pick 1 more team to follow. one for the AFC... Mine is (Bears NFC, Colts AFC.) see they are voting for 2 teams in the NFC Conference, what that means is those 2 teams can never play each other in the superbowl. Superbowl = NFC TEAM vs. AFC Team.

Seattle hasn't showed me anything this year, so until they beat someone, I will give them no respect.

Yep, and my Skins have already beaten Seattle this year. I believe if the Skins D can stop Alexander (which they are quite capable of doing)it will be over for the Seahawks..

Ok, now I see...you can tell, I dont follow football at all..tho I do recall my hubby telling me that the Bears and the Seahawks cannot play each other...but when my hubby talks about sports, I pretend(like a good little wifey), that I am paying close attention, when really I am not...so I just get the general sentiments, but none of the particular details...the hubby realizes this, he just blathers on to me anyway about sports, hoping eventually I will absorb something...

But thanks for reminding me of this...it will help me to look a little more knowledgeable when the hubby starts his sports talking...

My men did get hysterical in 1985, when the Bears won the Superbowl...when we lived in Chicago, my husband had a seasons pass every single year for the Bears...he sat through all the rain, and snow, and freezing temps, and suffered through all the lousy times of the Bears...we moved from Chicago in 1978, and the hubby returned his seasons pass to his family remaining in Chicago...then 7 yrs later, the Bears go on to win the whole thing...the hubby wishes he could have been living in Chicago for that season, but ah, it was not to be...

NO NOT MY BEARS! :(

Sorry 'bout that. I like 'em too. But they need an O-gang to go along with their kick butt defense.

I was 11 years old during the '85 season lived in NW Indiana and was born and raised a Bears fan. Have been waiting 20 years for the Bears to be back to the promised land. :D That was Superbowl (XX)20 this one is Superbowl (XL)40.

Man time flys! Whats really weird is I always thought i was older than that during that time like maybe 14 or 15 but doing the math I was only 11... strange, I still remember it like it was yesterday. :D

And what is really scarey, is that I have found as I have gotten older, is that time flys more and more quickly, the older I get...I figure, the closer my end comes, the quicker the time goes...or it just seems like that...gotta use that time wisely, and enjoy life...and for millions, watching the football playoffs is a wonderful way to enjoy life...

My hubby is 62 and still loves to play football, if given the chance(he still has some good moves for an 'old man'), my younger son played football in junior high and high school...and plays football all the time with his friends...my brother was also a football fan, playing football in high school, and semi-pro...so the men in my life, love to play, and love to watch football...

I just stay out of their way, and serve the food and beer...

Rex Grossman. :D hehe

Oh, he is good no doubt about it. But Jake Delhomme is better and has post season experience.

Unlike the regular season game, Carolina will not let Jake get sacked like the milk and groceries. The man to watch, IMO, is Muhsin Muhammad -- let's see if he gets fired up playing against his old team. Or too fired up and makes dumb mistakes.

I think he(Moose) will have a better game this time, the last game he dropped a TD Pass.

The Broncos are going to win the Super Bowl this year so the only games that matter are the ones that they are playing in. All the other games are being used by the NFL to sell commercials and make money only.
