I did ! I'm thinking of donating my home PC's processor time when I get the HD replaced and it's on-line again. It spends most of it's days off, with nobody using it, anyway, so it may as well sit there running, doing something productive.
I'm not sure, no body, maybe?
I didn't have the guts to ask him. LOL.
I need a stiff drink. Who's buying?
Ok. You twisted my arm. What'll you have?
LOL
Don't be afraid of no grammanazi!!
OUCH!!!
It should have been hyphenated, but it is still incorrect but the reason is not coming to mind.
:-/
I wouldn't worry about it.
Good!
I had many questions at first, but everyone on that thread was very helpful answering my questions, and I just let it run in the back ground since my PC is on anyway.
In configure, you can adjust the amount of CPU usage percentage.
I checked out the thread, but didn't understand it. :o[
"No one" is not correct grammar? No one would believe that, I'm sure.
I may be behind the curve on this one, but if I were into R-C airplanes, I would definitely hack together a helmet with the plane's eye view.
That would work with RC racers, too. You could even tie an audio feedback from the wheels into stereo earphones. If you didn't want to be embarrassed, you could always sit in your car, while controlling the miniature version. If you sat on the passenger side, you could put foot-operated accelerator and brake controls in for the miniature.
If your argument is true - nothing else matters!!
:(
Sorta in.
Been wandering as per usual today.
Goodnight, FRiends!!
How far away do you think those people were from the blast?
LOL!
That's normal!
I didn't understand it at first either.
I'm sure any geek could explain it better than me, but here's my take.
When my computer is on, much of it's potential is not really being used for anything.
I FReep, I surf, I e mail, check my web site, etc.
Stanford University is trying to figure out why certain DNA proteins in the human body "fold" and are OK, and some "fold" and cause disease.
I am simply adding my CPU (central processing unit) to allow them to test the behavior of the proteins faster, using my PC to help.
Many CPU's = lots of work getting done on this.
Free Republic's team number is 36120, and after only a few months work, they/we are in the top 300 of processing teams.
