"Chris should not be taking the heat over this"

Taking heat isn't the issue.

Taking credit for orginality of arrangement is the issue.

Bbbut, I thought you liked polls. Wssn't it you that posted that long, triple spaced screed of polls? My mistake I guess.

Chris did not take credit for it himself. Simon gave him credit for it and I don't see where Chris had time to respond before they cut away and moved on to commercials and then the next singer.

Should he have acted like one of the 2 male twins from the auditions, where he ran up on stage taking up someone else's time to make sure everyone got it right before they signed off for the show that evening?

I don't believe that Chris would be allowed to call up the media right now in the middle of the competition to get this all straightened out. Why should he straighten it out? He was not the one that gave himself credit for it, it was Simon that gave Chris credit.

It was gutsy for Chris to use that unique arrangement, period.

It's been going through my head all week, and Jonny Cash would've LOVED it!

This is a generic note to the posters of this thread. You all need to start a new thread, this one is getting too large for our system. If someone can start a new thread and let us know, we can link this one to the new thread. Thanks, AM

i'd rather see Tayler win than Chris, Taylor can sing different types of music where Chris can only do one style.

I agree. I think someone posted that they thought this weeks theme is songs of the 21st century.
