The Ward's Prayer

Hines Ward that is...

Our Father, Art Rooney in Heaven, football be thy game. Thy kingdom come, 4 Super Bowls won, on earth as it is at Heinz Field. Give us this day our running game and forgive us of our penalties, as we defeat those who play against us. Lead us not into defeat and deliver a Super Bowl victory. In Hines Ward's name we pray, in Bus we trust, A-Ben

Here We Go Steelers, Here We Go!

On the left side of his page you will see some links for song parodies. One is calledr "Roethlisberger is real nice" (or something like that). It's a parody of Buffet's "Cheeseburger in Paradise"

Man does that suck!

Really... so why is nearly EVERYONE IN THE FOOTBALL WORLD ragging on the Manning led Colts?

"NEARLY EVERYONE???? There are idiot sports writers doing that, but in the "football world" there are probably 25 franchises that absolutly love to have Peyton Manning playing for them and would take him in a heart beat if he were available.

Don't confuse these idiot sports writers with football people. Most of them don't know squat about football or any other sport. They ain't much different than the other folks who work for the MSM. They have to write something everyday so they write dumb stuff just to fill pages.

But I also remember the 4 missed tackles that allowed GB to stick in the fatal wound, just when we were gaining the momentum.

I'm old enough to remember seeing a guy named Jim Brown playing. It's amazing the number of chokers he played against because there were "missed tackles" up and down the field every time that guy got the ball. If there weren't so damn many chokers, that guy would have never made it to the Hall of Fame. < / sarcasm >

"When I was looking for a school for the deaf to send my daughter to in PA, I found one which sent me a DVD for prospective students/parents"

The Deaf school in Oakland and Wilkinsberg is the best in the world.

Well, I live in the Northwest and my boss has done some business with the Seahawks owner, (including a great party at the EMP!) so I'm rooting for the SEAHAWKS all the way!!

Although I would rather have had the Broncos, '9er's or Lions go, but that wasn't likely!

I always heard that Gallaudet was best, followed by RIT in NY.

My sister is a terp for deaf students at the local school, and has had a lot of-ex students go to either of these schools, with reported excellent results.

Mar, a gentleman just told me hours ago in WalMart that Polamalu visited his grandson in Children's hospital awhile ago.......we don't need cameras there to document it.

Prayers offered up for a great game, free of serious injury, free of ALL injuries, free of bad decisions by referees, let it be a good clean win with no controversy, let all Super Bowl celebrations be safe. Amen!

Yes, that is why we moved from California - so my daughter could attend that school. Do you work there?

This school is thru High School. Many of the grads do go on to Gallaudet or RIT.

Ahh, I understand!

One of my sister's students just graduated with a graphic arts degree from RIT and is being highly recruited, and totally raved about RIT...

Those were just a sampling of Seahawks doing community outreach, from their website.
