Can you cut and paste the fahlog.txt file? Just the bottom portion, ie, where the workunit started, core download, and then when it starts with the frames/steps.
it's located in your c:\program files\folding@home folder

Nope, the computer has to be awake because it uses 100% of the processing power when the computer isn't doing something else.
I leave my computer on 24/7. I just turn off the monitor. You'll want to be sure it's not overheating, though.

My production dropped lately because my laptop is either not plugged in or overheating. I am still hoping to add many machines by March, though my hopes have dimmed of late.

The slope is getting much steeper:
- Top 200 .. <1day
- (.Y.) ..34 days
- SISD ..41 days
- Apple Computer, Inc. .. 90 days
- Top 100 ..103 days
In the next ten days we will probably experience our first 24 hour period in which we don't pass another team.

I'd rather be just in front of them, than behind them. Well that depends on whether they have nice BUNS--->( I )<---BUNS as well...
Sorry, couldn't resist...

Uggghhh -
BOTH of my boxes are working on the same really
BIG proteins and will take days to finish. But at least they're worth 404 points each.
I don't even have an estimate yet on my slower box - here's a screenshot of my monitor:
Electron Microscope is a shareware monitor for FAH (for Windows). It's pretty good and you can make your own skins (that's not so easy, lol).
You can download it from http://www.em-dc.com/ I'm still working on getting the daily average points (shows 160.4 in the screen shot below) to show up in the black box - it seems to want to float too high and to the left. The default skin.ini file had no entry for that value, so I've emailed the creator and asked for some input.
