Coach Mike Krzyzewski of Duke said that certain segments of the media have conducted a vendetta against his team this season for what is perceived to be favorable treatment from officials.
Speaking Friday, Krzyzewski seemed most disturbed by TV sports programs and their illustrations regarding fouls and the disparity in the number of fouls called. He also said that newspaper reporters had overlooked notable aspects of the Blue Devils' season.

Good reason for the University of Connecticut to win it all this year. Jim Calhoun is a great coach and he has a great team this year.
The big problem is JJ redick. He has wisely modified his game to draw fouls and this upsets basketball purists like me.
I think if you are trying to draw a foul, there should be a bias for the official to make a no call.
If you are out playing good basketball, instead of trying to draw fouls, then you get the benefit of the doubt on close calls.
Calhoun is not a great coach. He is a great recruiter.
From a basketball purist, Krzyzewski is a better coach. Calhoun gets great athletes and lets them play street ball.

? This is basketball. Learned to play in the 60's, early 70's watching Jerry West and Oscar Robertson. The offensive player is supposed to try and initiate contact. This is nothing new and IS pure basketball. JJ Reddick is great.
Reddick is der floppmeister.
Sorry to disagree. Calhoun has won two National Championships in 6 years. Must be doing something right.
I love Krzyzewski and think he's a great coach. Nobody gets more blue-chippers than he does.
You get players that fit your program. IMO, both are great coaches.
