DURHAM -- A defense attorney says pictures taken at the now-infamous Duke University lacrosse party last month contradict an exotic dancer's allegations of being raped, beaten and strangled by three players. DURHAM Coach Mike Krzyzewski of Duke said that certain segments of the media have conducted a vendetta against his team this season for what is perceived to be favorable treatment from officials. Speaking Friday, Krzyzewski seemed most disturbed by TV sports programs and their illustrations regarding fouls and the disparity in the number of fouls called. He also said that newspaper reporters had overlooked notable aspects of the Blue Devils' season.

Last November, Christian Laettner borrowed $375,000 from The Branch Banking and Trust Company, or BB&T.
