Well after reading all the glowing comments about Barry Hartz I can only believe that not one of the authors has ever attended a meeting in which Barry Hartz was in attendance. My experience at such meetings leaves me with wonderment as to how he could ever be an elected assemblyman. Never in all my years in the business world have I ever come across anyone who comes close to him in being a disruptive force - not just at one meeting, but time and again. He blusters, he stutters, he screams, he accusses, he looses all control. There doesn't appear to be any reason for many of his outbursts, except to get attention - not for any purpose - just his need to be noticed. I can't begin to imagine how he could be effective in Sacramento - I have yet to discover how in any way, he would be able to work with fellow Republicans in making headway on any issue. My read on Barry Hartz is that he is about Barry, about what Barry wants, what Barry thinks is important, and how Barry wants things done. I have never seen him give any consideration for anyone else's point of view or beliefs. To sum up my observations of Barry Hartz - he is a buffoon. This Tea Party that he prides himself on was and is nothing but a failure - what did it accomplish? Besides getting himself pumped up - and providing him and apparently you all something to talk about for years on end. Again, what successes came about as a result of it? Yes, I do agree he does well on the street corner - I imagine he is in his element there - getting folks as stoked up as he himself is. I would gladly buy signs for him to use in his rallys - it's clearly the place he belongs. My wish for Barry Hartz is that he would learn to play golf and spending his golden years on the golf course where he could do no harm.
