you are welcome. It is so funny that the entire Gospel message can be found in the simple child's song. Gotta get busy. Lots to do before church. Catch you later. Will prolly be pinging early again as I have a concert tonight. I have been the WORSE hostess this weekend. Just disappearing each night!

Why Hes So Special
READ: John 1:1-14
I and My Father are one. John 10:30
Some pretty good people have founded religions over the centuries. One religious leader spent a good portion of his life trying to find truthan admirable quest.
Another religious leader was a teacher and a civil servant who drew up an honor code for his peoplea respectable venture.
No matter how good any originators of world religions may have been, they cannot in any way compare with the founder of Christianity. The major reason is simply this: They are all in the category of good men, while Jesus is in a category by Himselfthe God-man.
Jesus alone is Immanuel (God with us; Matthew 1:23), the Living Word (John 1:14), the Savior (Luke 2:11), and the Messiah (John 1:41). Only Jesus could truthfully assert His equality with His heavenly Father. I and my Father are one, He said (John 10:30). Only Jesus words are divine. His life was the only perfect one. Only Jesus death and resurrection provide life everlasting.
Jesus is unique in all the world. He alone is worthy of our worship, adoration, and awe. He alone is the perfect Man. The divine One. The provider of salvation. Dont settle for anythingor anyoneless.
Dave Branon
Not all roads lead to God,
As many people claim;
Theres only one true way
Christ Jesus is His name. Sper

A basketball in my hands is worth about $19. A
basketball in Michael Jordan's hands is worth about $33 million.
A baseball in my hands is worth about $6. A
baseball in Mark McGuire's hands is worth $19 million.
A tennis racket is useless in my hands. A
tennis racket in Venus Williams' hands is a championship winning device.
A rod in my hands will keep away a wild animal. A rod in Moses'
hands will part the mighty sea.
A sling shot in my hands is a kid's toy
A sling shot in David's hand is a mighty weapon.
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my hands is a couple of fish
sandwiches. Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in God's hands will feed
thousands.
Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse. Nails in Jesus
Christ's hands will produce salvation for the entire world. It depends
whose hands it's in.
As you see now it depends whose hands it's in. So put your
concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your
families and your relationships in God's hands because... It depends
whose hands it's in.
This message is now in your hands.
What will YOU do with it?
It Depends on Whose hand it's in !
America!
God shed your grace on thee

Early Ping again.. going to outdoor concert. Folks don't get dismayed if attendance is sparse on thread.. that means we are OUT & DOING THINGS! That is the way it should be. It is summer (well sort of) and things are busier in summer. We can all check in now & then to say hi & if in for night chat as time permits. When you visit, tell us what is going on so we can all have an update. This isn't IM where we all have to be there at same time anyway.. it is nice/fun now & then but will be the exception more than the rule.

I found over 500 dollars on the way to church today!!
Well, not in cash. Instead it was in the form of a Mcintosh MC-60 amplifier, that WILL be worth that much and probably more. It had been tossed out by someone who apparently had moved, along with several old tv's none of which were worth getting.
Now, it is here at the house. Soon, someone else, some collector will most likely be the owner. In return, I will acquire a laptop, late 50's color tv, or just plain old mullah. Of course, I will give God back his portion, as I ALWAYS Do, every Sunday. I am one of a few consistent tithers at my church as is my sister and mother.
It does go to show that you CANNOT outgive the Lord!!
