For some reason i don't recall that, but i can hear it in my head.

Typical Phil; a simple idea, some guy going around doing annoying things, and the callers can't beleive it's real.

I have to admit i was fooled at first.

Don't mean to be unfriendly just that many of us find him to be a fair weather friend!

Just like Bill O'Reilly is at times!

Cyril,
I have a walk in cooler available for a very good price, only used for a few months by a butcher who donated it to our cause here in Friggin, FL. Surely your neighbors have more food available than your frig can hold. I trust your collections will be a routine.

Point taken. I know he does a lot of Republican bashing, but he calls himself an independent conservative. BOR seems to be more of a poseur, but i don't mind him overall.

If you put all the conservative talkers together, Savage is definately the loudmouth of the group, and i know he has faults: he can be grating, rude, self-congratulatory,... But when it comes right down to making a point about something, he's almost always spot-on.

Something that gets overlooked, i think, is that his show works better in the evening. I don't think it would survive in the morning or afternoon.

One more thing is that there was a time that Mark Levin was only on local and the many that heard Savage he was using Mark Levin research etc and not crediting the stuff not only to Mark but also others too and peddling it as his own!

Now that Mark syndicated

Mark Levin brilliant and prolific in his posts today on NRO Corner...must reads

What Mark says: What Mark means

ABC Networks To Syndicate The Mark Levin Show

Had Savage aka Wiener been up front and followed radio protocal he would not have been made an example for doing wiennie things!

But this is what makes the life interesting we all see things differently!

Enjoy your Savage!:)

Michael Savage is an independent conservative commentator/author extraordinaire, who rose to the top with his ingenuity, intelligence, and unique perspective on world-wide affaires. Turn on the radio between 6-9 pm eastern and you will find him making sense out of the issues of the day better than anyone else.

Something that gets overlooked, i think, is that [Savage's] show works better in the evening. I don't think it would survive in the morning or afternoon.

That is an intriguing hypothesis, and I think you might be right.

I've had the chance to hear Savage in several time slots since he's been on in Houston, and he seems most listenable during the nine-to-midnight slot. For whatever reason, he's not an early-evening listen - the later, the better.

I'd like the book a lot better if Savage didn't freakin' read it aloud on the air.

I don't have the book, so i kinda like it when he reads a bit of it here and there.

I saw your post (on tha Savage thread a little while back) about the'meds'. A few people like to post similar stuff once in a while. Maybe tonite? I like to have a little fun with some of the posters who poke fun at the THE BEST ONE.

No, actually, he had this radio show and 1 of his 'friends' actually offended me. I can not mention what was mentioned that offended me but what I do know is that I never listened to it again ever since.

Now if Phil Hendrie likes doing voices, then he can be on the Simpsons.

You signed up on this day to make one post, and haven’t posted anything since then: odd.

Anyway, I agree, there were times when he could get close to the edge of offending people to the point where they would turn his show off for good.

OTOH, I liked the show.
