Here we go again. Barry Goldwater 1964 speech.

http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/barrygoldwater1964rnc.htm

I believe that we must look beyond the defense of freedom today to its extension tomorrow. I believe that the communism which boasts it will bury us will, instead, give way to the forces of freedom. And I can see in the distant and yet recognizable future the outlines of a world worthy of our dedication, our every risk, our every effort, our every sacrifice along the way. Yes, a world that will redeem the suffering of those who will be liberated from tyranny. I can see -- and I suggest that all thoughtful men must contemplate -- the flowering of an Atlantic civilization, the whole of Europe reunified and freed, trading openly across its borders, communicating openly across the world.

Now, this is a goal far, far more meaningful than a moon shot.

It's a -- It's a truly inspiring goal for all free men to set for themselves during the latter half of the twentieth century.

I can also see -- and all free men must thrill to -- the events of this Atlantic civilization joined by its great ocean highway to the United States. What a destiny! What a destiny can be ours to stand as a great central pillar linking Europe, the Americas, and the venerable and vital peoples and cultures of the Pacific. I can see a day when all the Americas, North and South, will be linked in a mighty system, a system in which the errors and misunderstandings of the past will be submerged one by one in a rising tide of prosperity and interdependence. We know that the misunderstandings of centuries are not to be wiped away in a day or wiped away in an hour. But we pledge, we pledge that human sympathy -- what our neighbors to the South call an attitude of "simpatico" -- no less than enlightened self'-interest will be our guide.

And I can see this Atlantic civilization galvanizing and guiding emergent nations everywhere.

I want a copy of that map! It contains nifty pieces of information like
The land of the ancient Hebrews, known as Palestine and Trans-Jordan, will be united as a demilitarized republic called Hebrewland.

They act like the government has never thought of improvements to our transportation system and it all started in just the last few years...

Federal Highway Administration, National Priority Corridors

Corsi can't even get his numbers correct but spews false info. There are more than 5,000 miles of interstate roadways in the US. Hell Texas has over 3000 miles. I think it is over 40,000 nationwide.

You do understand that, if the same Bircher (for lack of a better term) rules of evidence are applied, then Ronald Reagan is one of them.

Interstate 10 is well over 2,000 miles, just by itself.

That's just one evil road.

Details!

I'm not sure if your selection is on-point, but even assuming that it is, that makes Goldwater the great-grandfather, Reagan the grandfather, and "stick-the-tail-on-the-donkey" the father.

There are more than 5,000 miles of interstate roadways in the US

And most of them have major traffic problems. But... saying "Hey, the interstate system has served us well but it's showing some age. Maybe it's time to revamp parts of it and plan for the next 50 years" makes you into an evil conspirator, not just a person with the most basic common sense and ability to look/plan ahead.

Wow! I thought you liked Corsi. Now he's a low life scum sucker, willing to sell out this country to make a buck, just because he's touting this nonsense to sell books?

"low life scum suckers willing to sell out this country to make a buck".

So, road construction is really about profiteering? Or is it more about class warfare?

Hebrewland must have the most awesome flume ride, with the parting of the sea and all.

But the rules of the park are set in stone.

I guess you wanted to sell the 2 Houston toll roads for profit. I'll bet Cintra tried to buy that "cash cow".
