Post 215 on the 7/20 Middle East live thread contains wonderful news that rebel_yell2 got out on the Orient Queen and is making his way home. I know many have been following his story so thought I'd post the good news!

Thank you. I can't even stomach our own FReeper threads, lol. The live thread just made me very jittery yesterday and I had to stay away.

It's not the posts or posters, it's just the whole subject and worrying about people's safety, just so much misinfo everywhere, impossible to sort out and still keep up with - and today has been over the top with ingrates and incredible rhetoric.

I believe I will *respectfully* decline - but any real goodies can be brought to the live thread. Thanks again!

I saw some! They slipped through into a GMA interview Very happy to be home. Two of the 3 even smiled. The first one they interviewed had an Army-type haircut and thanked God for getting him out - said many other nice pro-Israeli things, too.

Perhaps the $20 bills ran out and they had to just interview real people and hear their real views on their experience! I still had to mute the TV, so I could leave on that pleasant note and pretend the rest will be like that, lol!

Someone else caught more of his words - like America is complicit with this war ... "George Bush" this and "George Bush" that ...

I tune out rhetoric, so it's hard for me to listen to it, remember it, write it down or pass it on. You're seeing my meager gleanings of a very hateful little speechifying.

Don't get upset about this whiney little guttersnipe. He'd be singing a really different song if he had been anywhere near those Hezbollah terrorists. He probably came out from under the bed of his luxury hotel and found that cameraman. He's a nothing, but you should see our guys on the GOTTA SEE THIS!
