Deputy Hopes Gibson Thinks About DUI

CALABASAS, Calif. (AP) - The deputy who arrested Mel Gibson on suspicion of drunken driving said Monday that he feels bad for damage to the star's reputation but hopes Gibson thinks twice before drinking and getting behind the wheel.

James Mee, a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy, told The Associated Press that he considered it a routine arrest and didn't take seriously any comments that Gibson made.

Gibson reportedly unleashed an anti-Semitic tirade and made other offensive comments when he was pulled over, initially for speeding, early Friday along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. He was then arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Gibson has issued a public apology for his conduct without specifying what he said or did.

"I don't take pride in hurting Mr. Gibson," said Mee, a 17-year deputy who is Jewish. "What I had hoped out of this is that he would think twice before he gets behind the wheel of a car and was drinking. ... I don't want to ruin his career. I don't want to defame him in any way or hurt him."

Just wanted to counterbalance those that are starting to rag on the arresting deputy. He seems like a decent guy doing his job.

I'm not a Mel basher but he really needs to seriously face up to his problems, for his own sake if no one else's.

AH HA! The cop was a Jew! Mel can smell them a mile away! They control everything. You know the thing back when they changed the size of the amount of water in the toilets? Who's idea was that? A Jew! They control all the toilets in the world! Or, how about the time they killed Jesus? Who did that? Jews! They can see you from inside your computer and have access to sensors in the waistband of your underwear too so they know when you go to the bathroom and use the Jew toilet. /barfing sarcasm off

Yeah...I'm still waiting to be cut a cheque from the massive, worldwide Zionist banking conspiracy. Then I could do away with this meddlesome business of, you know, having to work.

Dammit! I paid my dues and sacrificed some babies for oil, or orgon lasers or whatever the latest conspiracy is! Where's my cheque?

That "Sugar-tits" police officer was also a provocation. Didn't a lot of women criticize "What Women Want"? And wasn't that directed by Nancy Meyers, another Chew ("Private Benjamin")?

The poor guy is surrounded by Jews and Women, no wonder he made "Conspiracy Theory".

"James Mee, a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy, told The Associated Press that he considered it a routine arrest and didn't take seriously any comments that Gibson made."

Routine? It's "routine" to pull over a raging, drunk, wild-eyed, lunatic multi-millionaire superstar celebrity spitting out a foul-mouthed anti-semetic commentary, having to run after him as he tries to flee, handcuff him and drag him back to the back seat of the cruiser where he threatens to have his way with your anus?

That's a routine arrest?

Only in Hollywood.... sheesh.

I'm not a police officer, but I've treated the newly arrested. Except for the "multi-millionaire superstar celebrity part," it was routine for what I saw. There sure were a lot of drunk foul-mouthed people who were threatening officers, nurses and docs with all sorts of things I won't repeat here.
