I buy AMD chips, they've been great, lower heat, and lower cost. I know, I should be beaten for buying foreign produced products even if they are better than the domestically produced ones.

It is not a security tool.

I meant Seahorse, not Seamonkey. Easy mistake, since I don't actually use either, nor do many people.

Gee, any Brownings in that arsenal of yours? I know I have several in mine

I bet you do, since you like foreign crap. I have Remington, always have. How many SKS's do you have, or did you actually pay for an AK? Or is that just on the "Wish List"?

Conservatives don't believe in subsidies

So, why are you telling me?

Conservatives don't believe in buying inferior products just because of who makes them.

Yes they do, many of us still choose our hometown local boys to shop, not WalMart.

Conservatives don't believe in monopolies unless our infrastructure depends on them.

What are you talking about? Doesn't Al Gore have a high paying job at Apple?

Conservatives don't get banned from conservatives sites

Who was banned? You mean when I got suspended, for pointing out one of you guys is a freshman, at his third college? I guess that's too personal, so don't tell anyone.

the only thing you do on this forum is shill for microsoft.

Not true, but I'd still rather shill for a US company than a Chinese one.

The American company that will receive money for every Linux laptop that Lenovo ships?

Where's your proof the front for Suse is getting paid anything for it? You know the Chinese don't have to actually pay for it, they can make a legal copy for free, don't you. Yes, I'm sure you know.

I wonder if he buys AMD chips

No, never have, pretty much a ripoff of Intel. I thought they were from California, but if you love them and claim they are from Germany, no wonder.

Brownings are foreign crap?!?

BWAHAHAHAHAHA...

Geez dude, you're something else - what exactly you are is, quite another matter.

Browning and FN make some of the finest firearms on the planet. Browning's custom shop puts the art into the gunsmith's craft and produces some of the most beautiful works any gun lover could ever hope to own.

BTW: Back when Mr. John Moses Browning was working at Winchester, he had this idea for an autoloading shotgun. Winchester said it was too complicated ,and too expensive to produce. So he packed up his bags and went to FN in Belgium, who was more than happy to produce a design from The Master.

It revolutionized hunting in Europe, and that very same design made it back to the states in the form of the Remington Model 11.

Actually I have a Colt, no SKS or AK. Although I had a friend that used to have an AK, complete with the built in bayonet. He moved to CA and got parnoid with their gun laws so ended up selling it in AZ w/out letting me know. Otherwise I could very well have an AK.

Shoot, missed a paragraph break. The above quotation should have been formatted as..

[ge]I bet you do, since you like foreign crap. I have Remington, always have.

Get real. Most people don't have Brownings, and when they see their first one, they usually wonder what is wrong with it.

Well, I've never had a problem with any Browning I've ever owned, despite their country of origin - US, Belgium, Japan... I find their designs to be innovative and well executed in production.

And for some odd reason the US military loved the designs. Colt M1911, MA2, BAR to name a few.

Go back to shilling for M$, you're attempts to defame Browning and his designs are laughable.

FYI that would be "your". I'm not trying to defame anyone, just pointing out the simple honest fact that buying American supports Americans. To deny that is ridiculous, no matter how many strange "innovative" humps are in the foreign products you love.

BTW the number of duck we'd drop apiece isn't related to the shotgun. Chances are I could smoke you with a 410.

No, never have, pretty much a ripoff of Intel.

If you haven't noticed the last few years, it's been Intel that's ripping off AMD -- 64-bit and dual-core for consumer machines (even uses AMD's instruction set). Intel was getting killed until their Core architecture, designed in Israel I might add.

I thought they were from California,

They are, but their fabs are in Dresden.

Wow. You don't know sh** about guns, either. Not surprised, though.

Browning makes some of the finest firearms in the world, some of which even helped the US win World War II (BAR).

I've personally had the pleasure of a long-term loan of my friend's Browning Hi-Power while he was on deployment. One of the finest guns I've ever shot.

Hated to see him come home. :)

Hate to break it to him that the "American" Remington 700 has its origins in both the German Mauser as well as the British Enfield.

It's all somebody elses fault. Poor thing.

Ridiculous. You guys love putting down Americans and promoting foreign goods. Who do you think you're kidding.

Look at the auto industry in the 1960's-70's. The import invasion made the market more competitive, that's for sure. None of the big three would dare put out another Pinto, although GM appears to be trying to do just that.

Get real, companies don't make deals unless there's money involved, and the SUSE Linux they're loading costs $50 retail for a 1-year subscription. Dell ships both Red Hat and SUSE, and they both cost money.

You don't have to buy foreign products to enforce competition. You have the liberals for that, unless you feel more at home with our foreign counterparts yourself.
