Having lived in Germany, I'll add that sales of henna in that country are tremendous. Half the women there, and particularly the less attractive half, has their hair dyed that strange reddish henna color.

I knew a lot of pretty redheads in college, and I don't remember any of them being promiscuous. Maybe it's just a German thing...like sauerkraut and a love for David Hasselhoff.
