To each his own... for me, there's just no "there" there. It just sort of rambles around for a couple of hours.

Nope but the movie makes more sense if you've read the book.

I liked it anyway because I'm a baseball nut and kinda knew what the story was about going in (I saw the movie WELL before I read the book), but the book filled in some spaces.....
