I remember a story about a rocket launcher or something like it and that's IT. No articles nothing. You must be referring to the same story. I just don't understand the cover up.

And wonder why a Boeing was tracked on radar and climbed after a "fuel tank" "exploded" and why eplosive residue was found on seats, or why private investigators were jailed; and not published in the NY Slimes.
But then that might be asking you do more than you are intellectually accustomed to.
Do either of you remember this story? Cyborg definitely remembers the story I'm referring to about rocket launchers being found buried at a NY beach after TWA.

Don't hold your breath on either getting out. I know, for a fact, that Middle Eastern terrorists were involved in OKC. There is too much evidence of both Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols involvement with Middle Easterners, and Islamic Terrorists to dipute Islamic involvement.
And how quickly was the bombing on the OU campus swept under the rug? This kid had been regularly going to Islamic gatherings, he lived with two Islamic roommates in an apartment that was stuffed with bombmaking materials. And surprisingly neither of the two roommates knew anything about it, whatever!!

He also accepts the exclusion of the NTSB's investigative unit from the crash investigation, the FBI's dismissal of hudreds of witnesses who actually saw the streak of light fly towards the plan, the confiscaction of every video and radar record of the skies at that moment, and the testimony of a Viet Nam Vet chopper pilot who described the explosion of the aircraft as he witnessed it (he was in the air at that moment) as "outside ordinance".

No, I'm not. I know the fix is in and we are being bamboozled again. Maybe the military wants to avoid a public panic, or protect their interests and involvement in the middle east from a wave of American public backlash.
It could be all of that and also a lot of graft, greed, and corruption that would be exposed if there was a real light shone on these events. It's a damn shame for the victims. They deserve better. We deserve better too.
I have another theory on the OU bomber since he was into chemical bomb making -- beginning to think that the disruption of him being blown up may have led to some other things being discovered. He spent time in Pakistan and the people in London seem to have the same ties.
Maybe I am off base here but the investigation went totally underground out of the public eye according to sources here in Norman. May not have been the cover-up it seemed if some folks are right -- more like an in-depth investigation that they wanted hushed up for security reasons that is now bearing fruit. First thing I thought of when I heard about what they were planning to do to blow up the planes from that group in London.
You know, interestingly enough, fairly soon after the incident at OU, three Libyans or Syrians, can't remember which, were captured at the Mexican Border. I had heard that information relating to their capture came from the OU investigation.
So, you may be correct. What we don't know we don't need to know.

Any pilot can easilly understand the zoom climb. Fwd section blown off, CG goes 20 feet aft of wing. Nothing else but a zoom climb would result.
Obviously it was terrorist activity, and was covered up.
It's so easy to coverup something of this magnitude. Only a few thousand people you need to subvert, buy, or otherwise co-opt. Piece of cake. /s
