2nd Season of Freepers NFL Football Pick'Em!

For those who enjoyed Football Pick'Em last year, it's back again! We've created a private group called Freepers that you are invited to join at Yahoo. (http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/pickem)

You need to have a Yahoo ID to join. Sign into Yahoo, and search on Private Groups using the Group ID #17380 and the password freepers.

The rules are the same as last year: Pick all 16 games per week, and assign each game with a confidence rating of 1 to 16. (Each game must have a unique confidence rating, duplication is not allowed.) You get the total of the ratings per week for the games you pick correctly.

Please note: Only the first 50 people to sign up are allowed in as Yahoo limits the size of the league.

You can! You can change your picks up to 5 minutes before the first game of the week.
First game is Thursday Sept.7.
You can change picks right up to 5 minutes before.
If I remember correctly you can change the confidence points 5 minutes before the Late games as well.

As a Redskins fan, I have the perfect system: Washington will score the least points and lose every week. Ha!

That was my system too. My office mate was a diehard Art Monk, etc., fan. She ended up buying me more lunches (the price of the bet), many more lunches, using this proven betting techique.

You won't be able to view others picks.
There is a section called Group Picks and that will give a
composite look at the picks but there is no viewing other individual picks until after the game begins.

Make sure you fill out the Confidence points. I did not the first week and never could make it up. I finished in the top 20 but would have been in the top 7 if I did.

Non bye weeks the highest number is 16 down to 1.
You select highest numbers for games you are confident with your pick, low numbers for games you are not confident-
This is how the points are tallied every week.

You'll get the hang of it pretty quickly. You do have up to five minutes before game time to make any changes, if you want. Even if the early games are locked out, you can still change the later ones.

Last year was fun, should be good this year.
