Not surprising after one week, but this week's rankings were all over the map, starting at the top. The Steelers moved back to No. 1, while the Seahawks slipped two spots to No. 3. Four teams got first-place votes -- Steelers (2), Colts (2), Seahawks (1) and Ravens (1) -- and 16 teams received votes in the top 10. Five new teams (Jaguars, Ravens, Falcons, Bears and Chargers) entered the top five, with the Ravens jumping from No. 18 all the way to No. 6.
The Panthers fell 10 spots from No. 2 to No. 12. An overreaction? Maybe, but these ranking are always volatile at the beginning of the season while things shake out.
At the bottom, well if any of you watched the Raiders or Packers over the weekend, then you know who's at the bottom. The only question was which team would be all the way at the bottom. But really, could you go wrong with either one? ...

Yeah it's kind of unfair to rank Philly ahead of them when they had a layup win over the Texans.
The Iggles will be brought down to earth next week.
The Rams went from 22 to 18. I can live with that for now until our offense decides to score a touchdown.
That defense looked darn good though. That was very encouraging. If that offense gets on track then look out.
They damn near gave that game away.
Hey, the Texans are a legitimate 8-8 team this year! They are not a gimme for any...never mind, who am I kidding.
The Panthers game? I didn't watch, figured it was a blowout victory for them. How wrong I was.
The Giants will certainly be motivated.
What the heck was up with your red zone offense?
You could be on to something there...
I think the offense will come around...Bulger is good and has some great recievers.
Patriots at #10? Fine. Underestimate them as usual. We'll see you at the Superbowl.
The Chargers and Bears are too low. Pittsburg, Colts, and Seatle are too high. At least based on week 1 performance.
Well at least Mario Williams had a good....couldn't type it without laughing.
Bears play them Nov. 12 in NY so we will see.
I guess the Patriots must suck. I'll have to stop watching.
No the J-E-T-S.
Yes we are......Git R Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Half the league is making Super Bowl reservations and the other half is preparing for next year's draft.
It was pathetic. Except for a dry spell in the 3rd quarter, they could move the ball down the field until they got into the red zone. And not getting any points when you get a turnover on the 2 yard line is inexcusable.
The Rams starting offense has not scored a touchdown since LAST YEAR! This needs to be fixed if they even hope to improve over last year's record of 6-10.
