Well, I heard once that the longbow is a Welsh invention.

The idea that the story of Robin Hood is twisted version of an eleventh-century Welsh rebel's story sounds far-fetched to me, but it could be worse. At least Pravda didn't come up with a claim that he was Russian. Remember when they did that with King Arthur?

At any rate, it sounds like Bran's adventures were exciting in their own right. Anybody want to make a movie or write a novel about them?

As long as it doesn't star, hmm, the list is too long. Maybe it could be / should be made in England. :') In the Mabinogeon, Arthur is a sort of villain who is held responsible for the Saxon invasion.

Nope, the longbow was invented long before it became famous by the English. Oetzi the Ice Man had a six foot yew long bow, and was killed by a similar bow.
