I did not see the game, but I heard that some people booed Bush 41 (the one that raised millions for Katrina victims). What happened at the game?
The parasites of NO probably thought they were booing Bush 43. After all, didn't abandon them AFTER he had demolished the levees? (Sarc)
I saw the game and actually listened for boos amd heard none!
I thought I heard booing after they announced that the Falcons would call the toss -- so I interpreted it as booing the Falcons rather than President Bush, but I might be wrong.
I saw where every Saints game is sold out this year. Where did these "poor" people get the money for football season tickets when they have no home, no job and no income?
thanks for the reply.
not IMHO. I watched for it. thought the applause for bush was long and genuine.
NFL football games are not a very good place to see a representative sample of the local population.
Government handouts at the taxpayer's expense.
I watched.. if there was any boo'ing it was drowned out by the cheering...
Most of those "poor" watched the game on their new 52" plasmas bought by FEFA.
FEMA.... sorry
I watched the game and thought I heard some boos when GHW was introduced.
Someone should analyze the purchasing patterns of the Saints games and see how many seats were purchased with FEMA debit cards.
Did anyone else find the coverage of this football game annoying and over-the-top?
And will someone please fire Tony Kornheiser - he's just awful. Dennis Miller was ten times better.
The entire broadcast team is dreadful.
Yes, yes and YESSSS. The whole NFL needs to rethink its coverage of games and all the hype, not to mention way over-the-top halftime shows. I would more likely watch a good local high school band doing the halftime entertaining rather than what they have now. They seem to have forgotten----- it's about the game.
Kornheiser is even worse than Dan Dierdorf. However, he is still not as grating as that most heinous evil of all, Brent Musberger. He is close, though...
If you all remember, there was the Bush/Clinton Katrina Relief Fund. 41 raised quite a bit of money for them, and i think they realize that.
FEMA. Football Eyewitness Mandatory Attendance
