I did too. Imagine my surprise to turn on the radio this morning and hear Lee Davis announce himself as 'the transitional host of the morning show' instead of filling in for Russ and Dee. Lee Davis and the other hosts were apparently told not to even mention their names. Also, every trace of their existence has been removed from the station's web site. However, their site, russanddeeonline.com, still appears to be functional, for now, but it mentions nothing of the firing. I immediately fired off a complaint email to the station and to Crawford Broadcasting.
Interesting. Go try to do a search on the entire story...almost no one is carrying this. The LA times is one of the few.
Doesn't surprise me if the station would fire them immedately. There are a long list of things you just can't do on a Bama radio station. Someone out to start up a internet online radio station....Radio BAMa...and just start doing all the things that are forbidden. It'd take out the old stations within a month.
