I am surprised at the results, since we are told over and over how people are so anti-nuke in this country, both for power uses and for weapons.

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me and gordongekko909 if you want to be added or removed from the Freep this Poll! Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list)

Unfortunately, we've all been trained to think that if things get bad enough somewhere, we can just drop a nuke and the threat will end.

That might work with NK, but Iran and the Mooselimbs are a whoooole different ballgame.

"That might work with NK, but Iran and the Mooselimbs are a whoooole different ballgame"
Correct, since it is hard to see how kim ill-sung could export any sort of ideology. The islam-o-fascists are very good at it.

Just out of curiosity, I checked the vote totals in Firefox BEFORE voting. Then I went to Internet Explorer and cast my vote. There was no change. CNN wouldn't rig these polls, would they? LOL!

They changed the poll, since they didn't get the number they want.

Here is the real poll:

Is a pre-emptive strike ever justified?

(A) Yes, if a Dem president proposes it.

(B)No, if a Republican president proposes it.

(C)I hate George Bush and I could care less what he proposes, I'm against it.

(D)I'm a conservative idiot and my opinion doesn't matter.

Numbers. 13 percent for (A), 11 percent for (B), 15 percent for (C), and ... oops they changed the poll because as loaded as it was, it still wasn't generating the results they wanted.

I just had to vote on sanctions for North Korea.
