Are baked beans made especially for the UK market then? I know most Americans think it is strange that we serve them with our cooked breakfast or on toast.

I have never eaten the beans on toast but love the traditional pork/beans from can. There is a vegetarian line that is very tasty and inexpensive. I will try it sometime. Yours is toasted bread? butter atop or just the beans? is it eaten like a piece of toast w/hands or with knife & fork?
