Yes Resty we are six hours ahead of you.
This was one of our dishes it was quite hot with those peppers.
Peppers stuffed with angulas and garnished with squid ink.

The goat cheese is great it has a very strong cheese taste.
Goat cheese which is seared on a hot plate then added to the salad.

Lol - I know you wimmin like to see stuff like this but just is case you thought I had slit my wrists, I am letting you know that the red garnish is the juice of the beetroot.

Lol - I knew you guys would get a shudder out of this.
The cakes and marzipan stuff come later Derly.
Of course we had regular food too, salmon and artichokes, shrimp stuff in pastry shells, even croquettes.
The plates of twelve grapes at the back are for eating one at each stroke of the clock in Madrid at midnight.
We had twelve of those plates one for everyone.

Cardhu, I just had to google that. Here is what I found:
Angulas - baby eels - have been compared to short spaghetti strands with eyes, among other far less appetizing descriptions. But to Spaniards angulas, also called elvers, are a great delicacy, even worth the $165 a pound they command.
That is a few pounds of those things !!!

I started posting on the QVC board the other day. I joined so I could answer a cat question, but almost immediately got involved in controversy. Oh well, I guess there are resident grouches everywhere you go. I need my guardian angel/chaperone to find me still (like you did on FR). I got banned from HSN chat they really don't like freepers!
I am ok on QVC I don't talk politics mostly soap operas!
