Now that the election is over and this can't be considered just an election ploy :
Rumors are said to have been circulating in Durham to the effect that Nifong might consider (legally) going after a couple of bloggers; that if he deals with a couple of them the rest will be intimidated and fade away.
This is just a heads up; so that if anything untoward happens, everyone will know about it in advance and be able to make the connection. The rumors are well-sourced.
Most likely he's talking about KC Johnson.
Liefong has become downright Stalinesque in this case, although he was probably always that way and nobody except those around jim were aware of it. He doesn't like the opposition, be it Elmostafa or KC Johnson, so he just uses the battledress of his office to take them down, or to try to.
This is all about intimidating critics into silence.
This man is unreal, he's building his own little feudal kingdom down there in Durham.
Meanwhile the LaCross players families have engaged some of the best legal defence teams and private investigators available.
When the trial happens or should I say, IF it happens, Nifong will get his A$$ handed to him.
The whole Duke fiasco may have been a ploy so Nifong would get elected in a constituency that has large numbers of decent Black folk who have been taken advantage of yet again.
So I should take bail money and a good attorney's name, right?

It's probably just some DHS employee reading the net while at work. Maybe he or she got mad at something that was said and is trying to capture ISPs.

Decent black folks??? They're a bunch of racists. If they weren't, they'd want to see justice done for these boys as much as they for three black boys, instead of wanting the case to go forward in spite of the lack of evidence of a crime even occurring, let alone any evidence that these boys did anything to anybody anywhere along the lines of the accusation!
The NAACP in NC has completely reversed itself in its positions to accommodate this miscarriage of justice, just to see whitey hang for something he didn't do.
