Find a way to sell the same movie to the same people three or four times. And don't forget the wonderful moichendizing! As fast as we can write checks :~)

Interesting!
No politics?
Good!
Maybe I did find a haven from that mess!
Or at least I hope HH is still free of pilitics. and full of HOBBITs! :o)

Heh, it's the George Lucas school of filmmaking... just make a few movies, then keep re-releasing and re-packaging them for all eternity.

Well, only occasional politics, we aren't an island, more like a peninsula. :~)

How about a land bridge - only passable during certain seasons...

I'd LOVE to see Jackson do the hobbit! I've been waiting patiently since LOTR.
the gobblin attack in teh misty mountains and bard's slaying of smaug are two scenes I'd dearly love to see!

>Good news for Tolkien fans....perhaps
Yeah, because Jackson's
first trilogy didn't suck
enough for real fans,
and his "King Kong" thing
didn't suck enough to end
his career out-right . . .

Yeah, because Jackson's

enough for real fans,You know, you're on to something. I started watching the extended editions of the Jackson trilogy again recently. I have yet to watch Return of the King again, but I was watching the first two again, and I thought the first movie was a good adaptation of the Fellowship, but The Two Towers was really hit and miss. There were some really good individual scenes, but my main issue is that I really don't like Gimli and Faramir were portrayed.
