A 23-year-old Wichita man shot himself in the wedding tackle during a bodged kidnap attempt, The Wichita Eagle reports.
The unnamed perp, along with two accomplices, "attempted to kidnap a teenager in a dispute over stereo speakers" in South Wichita on Monday afternoon. The shooter first fired a shot at the intended victim, but missed. He then "jammed the gun back into the waistband of his pants", at which point it went off and popped a cap in his left testicle.
This unsurprisingly caused him to "cringe" which provoked a second discharge which hit him in the left calf. He was cuffed after walking* into a medical centre, and later booked into Sedgwick County Jail on suspicion of "aggravated assault and aggravated attempted kidnapping".
His two companions, aged 18 and 20, were also arrested on "aggravated attempted kidnapping and conspiracy to obstruct justice" raps. Police did not release details of the size of the weapon involved.

Definitely Darwinian, in that it could seriously impact his ability to reproduce. I suspect that his greatest punishment will be that everyone in the country is laughing at this idiot.

Moral of the story: if you try to kidnap people, you will get shot in the nuts and embarassed in a news article the following day.
It is at least the fourth time this story is posted on FR. How stupid can one be [and how many testicles should one have] to shoot oneself in the 'nads repeatedly FOUR times?
