You are dead wrong! Both the two men and two women come out onto their seperate driveways in the very beginning of the commercial. The point is that neither person knows whose spouse bought the Lexus as a Christmas present and they are hoping it's for them. A little less paranoia might be in order.
The only ones who don't get it are the naifs and bumpkins. The marketing director already admitted it:
