A baby doll that cries, wets itself and has to be taken care of caused a two-car wreck on Interstate 580 Tuesday afternoon.
The doll, used to teach high school students the responsibilities of parenting, surprised a 17-year-old driver when it began making a crying noise. The driver swerved, slammed into a median guard rail, swung back onto the freeway and hit a Ford F-350 pickup truck just east of the Santa Rita Road overpass.
California Highway Patrol Officer Steve Creel said the female driver, who he did not name, had the doll as part of a school project meant to teach the responsibilities of parenting. At the time, she was driving a Mini Cooper at 65 mph.
``She had picked up her doll just a few minutes before,'' Creel said. ``Then it started to cry.''
Creel said that when officers arrived, the girl ``was still caring for the baby. Fortunately, there were no injuries.''
Unfortunately, the driver did not have a driver's license. Creel said the CHP will pursue charges against her.

Apparently this parent-to-be has her "priorities" straight.
LOL - driving disaster!
Get a driver's license before you drive; get a marriage certificate before you have a baby.
See, if she had been a REAL parent she would have done things like the rest of us and avoided the wreck...just turn up the radio so you can't hear the kid.
How pathetic. Any real mother can drive while smacking the hell out of her kids in the backseat and never even take her eyes off the road. Kids these days....
LOL... I think I did that once or twice!!!

It's all in the dexterity. Yoga is for sissies. Motherhood is for keeps. Hahahaha
