Oops...
Forgot to change the dates...
Obviously today isn't the 24th of November and tomorrow isn't either.
:)
Here is a NFL game of "political note" this Sunday.
New Orleans Saints (BUSH) vs. San Francisco 49ers (GORE). Think there will be any controversies in this one?
Go Razorbacks.
I think LSU will give Michigan all it can handle or more. Any idea of sending ND to the Rose Bowl should be squelched.
Ah...Nebraska vs. Oklahoma to determine their conference championship. How nostalgic.
The only picks I'm gonna disagree with you on is the Big XII title game and Rutgers-WVU. For some reason, I like Nebraska in the Big XII and I'll get to the ACC in a minute.
As for the SEC game, I don't think Florida's offense, which has looked lousy the last few weeks, will be able to keep up with Darren McFadden and Arkansas.
Wake looks like a team of destiny in the ACC, and Georgia Tech is also struggling on offense; while in the Big East, I think West Virginia bounces back from the upset last week and knocks off Rutgers, sending Louisville to the Orange Bowl.
Finally, as big an Army guy as I am, I don't see them being able to stay with Navy for 4 quarters.
GO USC, BEAT ACLU!!
Pun intended.
The news we LSU fans have been getting out of Baton Rouge is that the Tigers going to the Rose is all but a done deal. A week ago, I'd have been surprised if we got a better bid than the Cotton, but Notre Dame getting absolutely annihilated by USC pretty much eliminated the Irish and LSU beating Arkansas must have impressed the folks out in California.
GO NAVY, BEAT ARMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nah but I'd expect a recount...
outside of the BCS title game (figuring OSU-USC), LSU and Michigan will be the game to watch.
yep....
Kinda nice to see Oklahoma and Nebraska play for it for the first time in the Big XII
There's no way the Rose Bowl selects Notre Dame for a rematch against Michigan. LSU fans should be booking flights and rooms already.
Notre Dame shouldn't even be in the BCS, but they'll make it because of their national popularity.
yeah they'll probably get the Sugar Bowl and lose by multiple Touchdowns again
nah...
I think 20 points is a lot to cover for Navy, but I don't think this game will be really close.
Go Middies! BTT.
It just seems right.
