Anyone watch Hannity & Colmes last night? One of their guests was a Nation of Islam spokesman. He claimed the United States was founded on Islam. I kid you not.
Didn't see it but they seen desparate in an attempt to get us to embrace this religion more than others.

George Washington and several other founders were Freemasons, and some of the symbols of Freemasonry are somewhat Middle Eastern (fez-like hats, pyramids, etc.), therefor America was founded on Islam. Get it.

Islam will shed much blood in our lifetimes, and it is our lot that everyone alive today can look forward to having this war go on for our entire lives.
We could despair over that reality, but the truth is that most generations get some nasty burden. I'd rather live now than have to be the generation that dealt with the black plague, or example.
The good news that Islam will almost certainly decline in the coming centuries. In the long run, civilizations survive because they win the intellectual battle. Anyone can conquer and kill, but ultimately, people have to see a reason why they should work hard to maintain a civilization.
Islam is getting killed in the intellectual battle. The fact that they are making ludicrous claims like the founding of America shows just how much they are getting destroyed in the intellectual battle.
Even in the Islamic world, the most coherent thinkers are the ones criticizing the extreme forms of Islam. Islamic leaders can't defend Islamic societies except by saying "Allah wants us to do things this way."
Contrast that record with Judaism and Christianity. Many Jewish Christian thinkers have pointed out that even if one rejected God, the Judeo-Christian ideals lead to societies that allow people to be happy and fulfilled. Nobody is claiming that even if one rejects Allah, Islamic law is the ideal means for ensuring happiness and fulfillment.
Can we blame the Muslims for global warming?

Oh, I would agree with that. But with a billion muslims in the world, that beast is going to be rearing its ugly head for a long time to come. Even if we whip their butts in Iraq, we are going to have to keep dealing with this or that Imam somewhere who causes problems for us.
I feel alot of Krafty Muslims are doing thier best to sneak Islam in the American Way of Life.
I sure hope that the Muslim elected to congress will not be allowed to take an Oath on the Koran.
Lastly how come most Americans went thier entire life without hearing Muslim, Koran and Islam but now we wake up hearing about it?

Was also reminded of the Koran-elect senator from Missouri or Minnesota who would not swear allegiance to our Holy Bible, for the ceremony to begin his tenure of representation. How nice! So, his allegiance is not to the people of his state after all. It's really to the Nation of Islam. One will soon be in the Senate, and how long will it take for more to follow. And it's just great that Islam will have access to more internal workings than previously. And do you think anyone in D.C has brains enough to keep a sharp eye on this fella? What are the odds that the Koran will be presented during the swearing-in ceremony because no one can find their spine and tell this fella where he can put his Koran...
I think just today I read a column by Ollie North saying that right now only our military are on a war footing. We have been engaged in a war (and deep in denial) for almost 40 years. The time is coming when we're going to have to admit it and act accordingly.
My fear is not that it will go on for a generation or more, though I'm not happy about that. It's that it's going to take more 9-11s for the average citizen on the street to realize that, like it or not, he or she is in this fight.
And our friends the Libs and the Dims are busily trying to disarm us as a nation. It ain't gonna be purty.
