I usually record the show and zap the commercials. On the few occasions I've watched it live I've learned one very important skill: If the phone rings, scream as loud as possible into the receiver "Do not call during 24, EVER!" and slam the phone down before hitting the "off" button.
Anyone rude enough to call during 24 deserves what they get.
LOL, you're right, when you watch that show you can't have any distractions whatsoever.
