A great hockey game for this Friday, after the medal rounds of the World Junior Championships I am now watching the Sabres-Penguins game. The game is tied 1-1 about 5 minutes into the second period, and the Pens tied it literally just after I typed that the Sabres were winning. I shouldn't have said anything! GO SABRES!!!!
TSN this afternoon for the Juniors, MSG tonight for this game. How's it going, guys? I haven't been on in awhile...been busy.
Drury makes it 2-1.I got Afinogenov on my fantasy team so I hope he gets some points.
Well, Buffalo just scored! Afinogenov and Vanek both took shots but it was Drury who made the goal. Dang it, I almost said he was gonna be one of the scorers, but I changed it to Vanek!

Well there goes my predictions! Jordan Staal just tied it 2-2 for the Pens. Malkin had the assist.

Buffalo has been playing uninspired (read: sloppy) lately and their special teams work has been poor for the most part. It wouldn't surprise me if they went on a losing skein -- I know the Leafs will be gunning for them tomorrow night in TO.
Every team goes through this, Anaheim had lost three in a row recently. We'll see if the Sabres can reclaim that spark in the second half of the season.
Looks like you're right--the Sabres just lost. Staal made it 4-2 on an empty net goal and the Penguins won. Malkin got 3 points this evening, a goal and an assist, and Crosby got one point on an assist.
