Ah, a Baltimore fan, I see.
Nice to see we have even more in common than just horses!
Once they checked his balls for hellium because they could not believe they hung up so long. Madden claimed some of his kicks had around a 6 sec hang time.
They need to put alot of the old REAL Colts in the HOF.
Steelers, (rolling-eyes emoticon)!
When both teams win a combined 10 Super Bowls that's not surprising.
"Ah, a Baltimore fan, I see."
Oh yeah. Should be a fun weekend.
I guess the Raiders took some grief from the media for using a first round pick on him.
When I see highlights of the Baltimore Colts I don't for a minute think of today's team in Indy despite the fact they wear the same uniforms.
There was an article yesterday or the other about a new DVD collection of Colts history.
The guy wrote it (and I won't tell you his history for now) as if the DVD was a farce, because 1 DVD is Baltimore and 1 is Indy. He said it's an insult to Baltimore, and they should sell separate disks, and it would probably make sales better anyway.
I don't know now if I want to buy it for my parents (my mom is/was a RABID vocal fan; my [Steeler] husband bought her 1 of those "authentic" retro jerseys of UNITAS).
What would you all think?
I saw that commercial on the NFL network last night and I imagine fans of the Baltimore Colts would be upset.
We're all pretty fired up about it.
Incidently, I never hated the Colts after irsay fled in the dark of night.
Hated irsay though (forgive me Lord.)
Heard that Dungey said 80% of his team didn't even know about the irsay/mayflower incident. I've said all along this is a one-sided rivalry.
That'll change if the Ravens put a beating on them Saturday.
I do think it would be a good idea to have a separate Colts thing.
People from each town simply don't think of the other.
Baltimore Colts' history ended in March of '84.
Should be separate discs.
Agreed. I don't think St. Louis Ram fans want to see highlights from the L.A. Rams appearance in Super Bowl XIV.
We don't hate them, OR the city either.
We hate the Irsays, especially fat Bob.
Hey, since you're also a horse fan, do you happen to recall the hilarious Preakness "cartoon" for the News American Sports page in 1984 when Swale would run?
It had a thing relating the the "Colts"....I've never forgotten it...
Most of my friends despise Indy.
About damn time Charlie Sanders gets in.
Yes. The various cities just don't ID with each other. They would basically know squat about the other town's version, much less care about it.
No. No idea.
