Hope it's a lot less lame than last season.
To: OXENinFLA
Now, if there were only some way they could show it at the same time in all times zones, we could really have a 50,000 post thread here. Unfortunately, those of us on the left coast have to avoid this thread as it happens live, otherwise it will spoil the show when we watch it at 9 PM Pacific. Grrr.
Hopefully everybody will remember to post their spoilers using a white font so they won't cheese off everybody else!

Here in NE Oklahoma, they're predicting more severe ice storms for today and tonight. I'm desperately hoping the sat signal holds up and there are no power outages.

We're starting our ice storm here in SE Michigan too. If we lose our cable, I'm totally screwed. One of the local rabbits got squashed by a car a couple weeks ago and I shot the other one about a month ago.
Hmmmmmm, I wonder if cat ears will work............here Squeek, here kitty, kitty.....

I've got comcast now so I don't have to worry about the satellite signal and I've got high speed internet so I can turn on my pictures this year.

I wonder if I should get the generator up an running just in case. That rabbit that got killed wasn't the one that made that plane crash was it?

That sure sounds promising! I've been worried about being disappointed this season since last season was so fantastic. I mean, what do they do for an encore after last year?

24 returns for another season.
The time period is two years later. I miss First Lady Martha already.
Poor Jack. He can't catch a break. The new President buys Jack back from the Chinese, only to sell him to Islamist terrorists.
Chloe had been dating around and
pwns her new CTU supervisor -- the Sup left open the Jarvis Firewall and Chloe caught it.
Chloe's ex manages to lock onto a commercial satellite to trace Jack's whereabouts. Dang, he might even be more technically savvy than Chloe. But they get caught.
The first hour is a tear-jerker. Have a box of tissues close at hand. It is patriotically inspiring what Jack does for his country.
Bill handcuffs Jack to a grill to await the terrorist to get him.
Jack to Bill:
"Do you understand the difference between dying for something and dying for nothing? The only reason I fought so hard to stay alive in China was that I didn't want to die for nothing. Today, I can die for something, my way, my choice."
Does Jack give the terrorist the finger?
Have faith in Jack.
And hang on. It looks like another bumpy ride in Season 6 of
24
Do NOT miss the final 5 minutes of the 4th hour on Monday night. It is a jaw-dropper.

NW AR got hit some, but not nearly as bad as OK. We have some ice in the trees, but the roadways and streets are clear. We lost cable sometime turning the night, so I was sans cable tv and Internet (oh, the agony) this morning. They got it thawed out just about 15 minutes ago. The bad ice missed us, but several area towns north of my location are without electric power.
Another hit is expected this afternoon, however, and the temp is alreay below freezing. And this next week temps may be nearing Zero at night.

To be a drinking game worthy of 24, you need to be put in mortal danger very quickly.
To: nhoward14
OK,OK, but first, lets get the rules straight. What constitutes a drink. A sip of beer is not the same as 80 proof brown stuff. I'll go heads up with anyone but we got to be on even ground, lest we stumble into oblivion.
