Ack! It's going to be over soon. Then we'll really have something to complain about!

It was especially true in the era of NFC domination. I also miss the games starting at 12:30ET.

UGH!! Just noticed that this will be SUPERBOWL XLI (41).

Hard to believe it was Superbowl XVII (17) when John Riggens broke free of that hanging Miami Dolphin to run for the touchdown...creating that famous picture poster. Seems like yesterday.

Hell, I remember Superbowl I when Green Bay beat Kansas City 35-10.

I know. These late games are hard. At least we've got something to watch while we're waiting. I don't think I would have survived last week end otherwise.

At this point I'm just so exhausted from pre game analysis.

Which reminds me, I have to get back to it. :)

I'll be back to check in later.

The Cleveland Browns were so dominate in the AAFC, that the all -star game was the AAFC All-Stars V Cleveland Browns.

I was 13, and a huge Raider fan. After all their heartbreaking losses in AFC championship games in the preceeding years that one sure felt good.

As for the Vikes, that was the official end of their (NFC) dynasty. They had some great players -- Alan Page, Carl Eller, Jim Marshall, Ed White, Matt Blair, Ron Yary, Chuck Foreman, Fran Tarkenton. ....and coach Bud Grant.

That's why waiting on Super Bowl Sunday really stinks when your team is in it.

This is going to be a good game... To be honest, I though I would never see the Saints in a NFC Championship in my lifetime...
